26 Using the Site ⑤ Layout, Scope, Rules and Corrections

Question for this chapter. How do the site's top tabs and sub-tabs fit together, how far does the calculation reach, and where can I see which rules were used and what has been corrected?

Answer. The site is organized into numbered top tabs, and three of them matter for reading a result: Check, which walks through steps beginning with residency; What this site covers, which labels each item by how far it is handled; and Rules and Corrections, which shows the rule version, the check status of values, and a log of changes. Reading these three screens together lets you see, for any result line, where it came from, which rules it used, and how well its values have been checked.

What to check

What to confirm. Confirm that each item in your situation is within the site's coverage, and that the rule bundle and value check status behind your result match what the Rules and Corrections screen currently shows.

One-line summary. Read the coverage labels and the rules and corrections screen alongside any result, so you know what was calculated, on what basis, and what has since changed.
